SplashID - Free Secure Password Storage

What a Bargain? SplashData products, for PalmOS, have always been, to PalmOS, what "Audi" is to motorcars, the highest quality apps. I have recently changed to PocketPC, and I was able to export all my encrypted data from my SplashID for Palm, and import it into SplashID for PocketPC, in a couple of seconds. This is now my second most valuable application, after Pocket Informant. Only down side to this current wording, on this page, is the words "Free" and "Freeware". Some, like me, don't try that many freeware products, assuming, maybe wrongly, that a free application is likely due to a young school lad who has put a little something together in his bedroom, and posted it on the web, or is testware that will eventually be charged for, when it becomes half decent, and is likely not to have support to the level it would have, if the software was paid for.. In fact, that is not true of SplashID. It is Great, and the desktop, which is now separate, has links into http and email, etc. I know those who download this application, will be hooked on the high quality, features, security, and ease of use, and will have to get the Desktop. As everyone knows, PocketPC is not as user friendly as PalmOS, and several friends have gone back to PalmOS after moving to PocketPC. We will have to see, as I was spoilt with Datebk5 and SplashID and a higher resolution Sony display (480x320 pixels). But SplashID has certainly helped the transfer. A "Must Have"
