Google Doubles E-Mail Space, Promises More Capacity To Come

Who says competition isn't good for consumers. A year ago when Gmail launched offering 1gb email storage, Yahoo mail was only 4mb storage. Now that Yahoo and others have countered with their own 1gb storage, Google is doubling Gmail to 2gb with plans to keep bumping up the limits in the future. This is great news for mobile users too since many of them can access their web mail accounts, like Yahoo mobile, from their devices giving them the possibility of unlimited email capacity for free in the future.
